Alumni of Maryland Institute College of Art, with a BFA in Illustration and a concentration in Game Art. My specialties are in UI/UX design and visual development. Currently I'm working at Gearbox Software as a UI Designer where we just recently shipped Borderlands 3.
I act as an agency point of contact, working with client stakeholders to establish and provide high quality UI art styles and assets for their game needs. Once the client and I have aligned on the vision for the UI, I work with a team of artists and designers to execute on providing everything from low fidelity wireframes, high fidelity concepts and motion comps, all the way to game ready assets and implementation support.
Internally I'm also helping to grow the team, provide mentorship to junior artists, provide documentation for processes and implementation, and help improve best practices of the studio.
Designing interfaces for Gearbox titles, working closely with my Art Lead, other artists, and stakeholders to concept, iterate, and implement our designs. Helped develop multiple UI style guides in pre-production for an unannounced title, and assisted with the development and implementation of UI for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Along with my team, I helped work with the Creative Director and design teams to concept, iterate, and implement various UI systems in Borderlands 3 from early on in production to live support of the shipped game.
From concept design, making UI graphics and animations and 2D assets, assisting the 3D pipeline with skins/textures, or working on marketing images -- I help the team wherever cool visuals are needed.
Worked with the UI lead to make in-game iconography, UI art, and design concepts for their upcoming game that's currently in Steam Early Access -- Offworld Trading Company.
